First Baptist Church of Chattanooga Ministry Opportunities

First Baptist Church has always been a church with a heart for missions and ministry. Through the years, it has provided substantial financial support to mission endeavors through the Hamilton County Baptist Association, the Tennessee Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention as well as to various local agencies and ministries.

More significantly, perhaps, members of First Baptist have consistently provided personal, hands-on assistance to mission causes at home and away. Individuals and groups have volunteered their time and energy to share Christ's love in ministry actions in Chattanooga, various locations in Tennessee, in other states and in foreign countries.

The following serves a two-fold purpose: 1) to inform church members of some of the ways in which our family of faith is involved in local ministries and 2) to provide information regarding these ministries so that other individuals and groups may become involved.
